A Gallery of Recent Work.
These images include the launch of Refuse: CanLit in Ruins, edited by Hannah McGregor, Julie Rak, and Erin Wunker, at ACCUTE 2019 at UBC, which I facilitated as President of ACCUTE; I also contributed a chapter to the book (left); a paper I delivered on a panel with Bart Vautour and Alan Filewood at Untold Stories: Canada at 150 held at University College Dublin in Ireland in April, 2017, titled “German Internment Camps in the Maritimes: Another Untold Story in PS Duffy’s The Cartographer of No Man’s Land,” which is forthcoming an essay collection from Wilfrid Laurier UP in 2021 (centre left); and a paper called “Writing the Circuitry: ACCUTE’s Role” at the Canadian Association of the Study of Discourse and Writing, which I gave at the UNB Congress in June 2019 (centre right). The image on the right comes from my visit to Oakland, California to interview American writer Christina Sunley who shared the Icelandic cover of her novel, The Tricking of Freya, which I explore in my forthcoming book.
